Some Things Are Easier Written Than Said
जो ज़ुबाँ तक न पहुँच सकी, वो सब यहाँ लिखी गई है
There Was Plenty to Say and Nobody to Say It To
So it went onto paper instead. A line here, a couplet there, mostly late at night, mostly for nobody in particular. Nothing was written to be published. It was written because holding it in was harder.
Over time those pages piled up. Some of them turned out to be about things a lot of people quietly carry around, so they were put online. That is really all this place is. Not a magazine, not a brand. A notebook that happens to be open.
Every shayari and every poem here is written, not collected. Nothing is lifted from a forward, a screenshot, or somebody else's book.
Two Languages, One Heart
Some feelings refuse to fit inside one language. So the writing happens in both, and neither one is a translation of the other. A sher is not an English poem wearing Hindi, and a poem is not a sher stretched out.
Four Things That Will Not Change
Written, Never Collected
No forwards, no screenshots, no lines borrowed from someone else and quietly passed off as ours.
Sorted by Feeling
Not by what is trending this week. You arrive with a mood, and something here should meet it.
Free, and Staying Free
No paywall, no sign-up, no popup asking for an email before you have read a single line.
Slow and Unhurried
A few good lines beat a hundred rushed ones. Nothing goes up until it is actually ready.
What You Will Not Find Here
Plenty of sites in this space promise everything. It is fairer to say what this one is not.
A Thousand Posts by Next Month
The pace here depends on when something worth publishing actually gets written.
Advice, Therapy or Life Coaching
These are verses about feelings, not instructions on how to handle them.
Anything Written by a Machine
Every line here came out of an actual head on an actual bad night.
Take Whatever Fits
If a line here says something you have been carrying around unsaid, it has done its job. Copy it, send it, keep it. That is what it was written for.
Most of It Was Written Tired
Late nights, half finished sentences, and pages that sat untouched for weeks. Nothing here arrived neatly, and that is probably why it reads the way it does.
